Fire Truck Cab and Chassis on Display Features Innovations
with RV Applications
CHARLOTTE, Mich., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Why is a fire truck at
a RV show? Spartan Chassis, a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc.
(Nasdaq: SPAR) is featuring a Spartan Gladiator Evolution fire rescue cab and
chassis at this year’s 43rd Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
The fire truck, on display at booth #6008, showcases many of innovations
developed by Spartan in the fire-rescue market that have applications for
recreational vehicles.

The fire truck on display will have several innovations with direct
applications for motorhomes, including an advanced multiplex-electrical
system, which gives the driver complete control of the vehicle’s electrical
functions at a centralized computer electronic display.
The fire truck also includes safety innovations including roll stability
control and side roll protection, which help prevent dangerous accidents and
injuries during rollovers.
